A suspect is in police custody after a large police presence in Tuckahoe Friday afternoon.
Tuckahoe police say White Plains police contacted them about an attempt to locate a man who was wanted on multiple outstanding arrest warrants.
Detectives say White Plains police believed the man would come to Tuckahoe to complete a vehicle transaction.
The suspect fled on foot upon making contact with officers, according to Tuckahoe police.
Police from Eastchester, Bronxville and Westchester County created a perimeter, and the man was located in the Marbledale Road quarry.
Authorities say the man became stuck but was taken into custody after a brief standoff.
The man was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
