Some Bedford Park homeowners say they?re uncomfortable with plans for a Comfort Inn motel in the neighborhood.

The five-story, 40-room motel will be built on Webster Avenue between 202nd and 203rd streets. The lot is next door to a couple that has lived there around 70 years. They worry that the motel will bring drugs, prostitution, and block their air and sunshine. Residents also say a school is nearby.

Community Board 7 members say they don?t want a motel there and they plan to protest at the site August 2 at 10 a.m.
