Classes in the Bedford Central School District were held remotely Tuesday after a threat against the high school.
There was an increased police presence at all district schools on Monday after a threat was posted on Snapchat against Fox Lane High School.
The threat was later determined to be not imminent. Police say they are still taking it seriously.
School officials say students and parents who observed the post immediately alerted the school and police.
The family and the person who made the threat are cooperating, and that individual was not in school Monday.
Officials say there is no imminent danger stemming from the threat and that holding classes remotely was done out of an abundance of caution.
