In these uncertain times, Berkeley College is making sure no student goes hungry.
It opened a food pantry for any students facing food insecurities.
It offers goods, diapers, household products and feminine products.
The pantry also offers grab-and-go bags.
“We never want our students to have to choose between feeding their families or themselves,” says Ellen Zitis, executive director of the Berkeley College Foundation.
Between spring semester 2025 and winter semester 2025, 1,700 online orders were filled between three campuses.
