The Bethel Volunteer Ambulance Corp is mourning the loss of one of their own, Constable Doug Ketchum.
According to a social media post from the corp, two EMS members recently returned from a call and found Ketchum unresponsive inside the building.
Despite attempts to save him using CPR and other life-saving techniques, Ketchum could not be saved.
This incident is being considered a line-of-duty death.
