Four Stratford EMS paramedics are being hailed as heroes for saving a man's life during the height of this weekend's snowstorm.
Officials say the man went into sudden cardiac arrest after shoveling snow.
Despite the blizzard conditions, first responders got to him quickly and performed CPR.
"Considering the amount of snow and everything, it took a big group effort between the fire department, myself and my supervisors," said paramedic Louis Bronson.
The man eventually regained a pulse before being transported to a local hospital for more treatment.
"Public Works did an amazing job clearing the roads all day continuously," said Stratford EMS supervisor Jack Rodican. "Stratford EMS, Stratford fire department, the man's family... everybody had a crucial role to play."
Operations supervisor Erin Smith and EMT Abigail Aldrich were also on the EMS crew credited with saving the man's life.
