A boiler explosion occurred early Thursday morning at a home on Carina Drive in Somers, leaving three people with burns and cuts.
According to a preliminary investigation, two residents and a house guest went to the basement to check on a noise coming from the boiler before the blast. The three individuals were taken to Westchester Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Damage to the home was mainly confined to the basement.
