The Boros recently beat out the Burbs in a close game of the 4th Annual Metro Classic.Christ the King High School played host to the event that pits the best of the New York City high school players against those from Long Island and the Hudson Valley.
Saint Raymond's guard Darryl Bryant and Rice teammates and guards Durand Scott and Kemba Walker rounded out the Boros squad.
The Boros were up by two at the beginning of the fourth quarter in the close contest. Scott fed the ball to Walker, who gave the Boros a 62-58 lead. Walker also scored without an assist the next trip down the court.
The game remained tight, but with less than 10 seconds to go, Walker came up with a steal and took the win. The New York City squad walked off the court with an 89-85 victory.
