A Bridgeport mother is making a passionate plea for justice on the 11th anniversary of her son’s murder.

"I want the person who killed my son to be arrested and brought to justice," said Dolice Hill.

Hill's son, 33-year-old Derrick Hill, was killed in a hail of gunfire outside the Rootsman Kitchen - a Jamaican restaurant on Park Avenue where Hill worked - in 2015.

Gregory Hughes pleaded guilty to conspiracy in the case, but police say the actual shooter has never been brought to justice.

Anyone who can help police is asked to call 203-576-TIPS.
