The Bronx's Saint Raymond and Cardinal Spellman boys baseball teams battled each other Monday in the start of the regular season.
The St. Raymond Ravens dominated the game. In the top of the fifth inning, the Ravens were up 7-0. They managed to hold on and later add to the lead, not giving Spellman anything. The Ravens eventually went on to win 15-0.
St. Raymond Head Coach Ron Patnosh says the team came a long way. "We've been struggling in the exhibition games, but we came out to play today. My pitcher's only a freshman, but he did a great job," said Patnosh.
