Two Westchester men were indicted for punching and kicking an NYPD Transit lieutenant, the Bronx district attorney says.
Brian Innocent, 24, of New Rochelle and Marquis Webb, 24, of Yonkers both face first-degree assault charges.
The indictment stems from an investigation initiated back on Nov. 11 after Lt. Gypsy Pichardo responded to a fight.
According to the district attorney, as Pichardo attempted to arrest the defendants, he was allegedly punched and stomped.
Innocent and Webb are due back in court on Feb. 27.
