Bronx hosts Karate World Championships

More than 500 athletes from 25 countries made their way to the Bronx to take part in the Karate World Championships. For the past three days, fans gathered at Manhattan College's Draddy Gym to watch

More than 500 athletes from 25 countries made their way to the Bronx to take part in the Karate World Championships.
For the past three days, fans gathered at Manhattan College's Draddy Gym to watch performances and competitions. The more than 4,000 fans that attended were also treated to many different styles of fighting, including men's team fighting. The Serbian team took home the title for the men's team fighting.
In addition to competing at Manhattan College, the athletes were housed at the Riverdale campus.
