One Bronx-based organization is dedicating their services to help needy Bronx residents stay warm in the cold weather.Hands On New York joined with Arch of Salvation Church located at 1983 Jerome Avenue to hold a coat drive Saturday. The organization dedicates its time to help Bronx residents in need by giving them food and clothing. Haile Rivera founded Hands On New York four years ago. Rivera and the organization also offers help with welfare applications and immigration issues free of charge.Hands on New York says it plans to rent out a space in the church and set up an informational table to help inform community members about their services.
