Some Bronx parents had the New York City schools boss in the hot seat Wednesday as he tried to sell a reform plan for public schools.New York City Schools Chancellor Joel Klein visited Hostos Community College to push the mayor's plan for teacher accountability. Mayor Michael Bloomberg (R-NYC) wants to hold teachers more accountable for students making the grade. Klein is holding at least one public meeting in each borough to seek community input. While some agree with the change, others argue the plan is not the answer.Parents told Klein face-to-face that students need more individual attention. Protesters also gathered outside the meeting.
