Bronx parents voiced their concerns about the second relocation of Sports Professions High School at a meeting Thursday.
Many parents are upset the Department of Education has not found a permanent building for the school. They say their children are suffering as a result of moving from building to building. Parents are also concerned there will be overcrowding once the students move to JHS 144.
The Department of Education says the school was originally supposed to move to PS 121, but says JHS 144 provides better options. Education officials say the school would be housed at JHS 144 until 2008, when it finally gets its own facility.
