Bronx church members marched through the borough?s streets Saturday to bring their anti-drug message to the forefront of the community.
The march started at E. 138th Street in Mott Haven and ended at Willis Avenue. Organizers say they chose the area because it is plagued by excessive drug use and crime. Some participants used the march to highlight their personal struggle in the hope that speaking about their problems will help others kick the habit.
The march is held annually and attended by children and adults.
