? Bronx women gathered at the Latino Pastoral Center Saturday to attend the Women?s Health Conference to learn how to keep mentally and physically fit.

Workshop attendees got advice on how to balance family and work obligations with their own needs. Bronx mother and wife Carmen Rodriguez says the conference gave her insight on how little things, like lighting candles and listening to music, can relax her.

The director of the Women?s Health Conference says the event was the first in a series. Workshops on men?s health and family health are also planned.
