The Bronxchester Challenger League has been created for kids with autism.
The baseball league is the second of its kind in the Bronx, and it lets the kids decide at what pace the game will go. Lizette Hernandez, whose son has autism, says she created the league because of his love for the game.
Organizers say 60 kids signed up for the league's first season, and many others had to be put on a long waiting list.
