Someone has made off with a Budweiser billboard for the second time this month in Wallkill.

On Friday, the billboard located along the westbound side of Route 17, was reported stolen. Authorities say the sign, worth about $1,100, had recently been replaced after someone took off with it in early December. Some residents believe the theft is the work of teenagers.

Since the sign was in a remote location, police say witnesses to the crime are unlikely. Anyone with information on the stolen sign should contact Middletown State Police at 845-344-5300.
