The Comprehensive Amputee Rehabilitation Program presented an event Tuesday at Burke Rehabilitation Montefiore Health System that featured two Paralympic gold medalists.

The Amputee Walking School within the CareRite Centers network is open to all physical and occupational therapists and people living with a limb loss.

Todd Schaffhauser and Dennis Oehler are dedicated to assisting amputees achieve their mobility goals even after their rehab services have ended.

A light dinner was also served for those who attended. They also educated therapists on exercises targeted toward prosthetic gait training.
