Even though the first day of the school year is still two weeks away, Bronx parents are being urged to change their children?s routines before classes begin.
Child education experts say back-to-school routines should start two weeks before school begins. According to experts, earlier bed times and wake up times are an essential part of the back-to-school transition. They add children usually need more sleep while in school.
Parents should also encourage some studying and reading before school begins. Experts say though younger children may cry or be frustrated with the transition, parents should stay calm and supportive.
