One Westchester County high school hockey team has raised over $10,000 for breast cancer research.
The Byram Hills varsity team raised that money through at its 12th annual "Pink the Rink" game at Brewster Ice Arena, where they defeated a combined team from Brewster, Yorktown, Somers and North Salem in a 4-3 victory.
The event included the sale of "Pink the Rink" merchandise, bake sales and a chuck-a-puck contest.
All proceeds raised will benefit the American Cancer Society.
