A cab driver in Wallkill says he was threatened at knifepoint Friday morning, but he escaped to a local store unharmed.
The driver, whose name isn?t being released, responded to a call for a pick-up at the Middletown Village Apartments. According to authorities, three men entered the cab and one pulled out a knife.
The dispatcher at Syndicate Taxi, where the cab driver works, says his colleague came out of the attack shaken, but not injured.
The dispatcher says he still has the phone number of the person who requested the pick-up, and police are still in search of the three suspects.
