Justin Brasch has declared victory over Nadine Hunt-Robinson in the Democratic primary for White Plains mayor.

"I'm feeling terrific. You work really hard in these campaigns, around the clock and it's great when you're victorious and you can pursue your dreams to make the world a better place," says Brasch.

Brasch has been a City Council member for eight years.

Hunt-Robinson served on the City Council for 10 years, until 2023.

White Plains will have a new mayor for the first time since 2011, as Mayor Tom Roach is running for county clerk.

The winner of Tuesday's primary will face Republican candidate Lenny Lolis in November.

Hunt-Robinson told News 12 on the phone that "we're proud of the race that we ran, and I wish my opponent and the city of White Plains nothing but the best.
