Police say it happened at Gracepoint Gospel Fellowship Church in New City.
It happened Sunday, but it wasn't the first time.

On Sunday, officers in plainclothes went to the church to keep watch.

Police say the suspect fled on foot but he was caught by Clarkstown police.
He's now facing charges of petit larceny and obstructing governmental administration.
