CDC: More 75 million vaccines administered in the US

A milestone has been reached as more than 75 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have now been administered in the U.S., according to the CDC.
Their data shows that nearly 50 million Americans have now received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Around 25 million people have now been vaccinated with both shots.
Currently 1.7 million vaccine doses are being given a day in the U.S., based on the seven-day average.
The delivery of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, which requires only one dose, is expected to speed things up even more.
