Chick-fil-A has opened its first-ever location in Rockland County, drawing long lines of fans in Nanuet.
Until now, residents had to travel to the Sloatsburg rest stop, New Jersey, or Yonkers to get their Chick-fil-A fix.
The new restaurant is located on Route 59 and features dine-in service and a double drive-thru lane to manage high traffic.

It's creating about 100 local jobs and participating in the company's Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits.
To mark the grand opening, Chick-fil-A is donating $25,000 to Feeding America, with funds going to food pantry partners in the area.
The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday.
