Child care providers at a Bronx nonprofit want answers after they say operations at Highbridge Advisory Council Family Services were abruptly stopped more than three weeks ago.

Doors were closed and those child care workers say they weren’t notified and still haven’t heard anything from management.

Workers say they’ve gone months without getting paid, however many we spoke with say they are still working to provide child care for families who brought their kids to the nonprofit, much of that happening from those workers homes.

News 12 tried getting in touch with management at Highbridge Advisory Council Family Services by phone, e-mail and by knocking on the doors of their River Avenue offices, but has not received a response.
