Chocolatey goodness: Brothers’ cocoa stand raises funds for pediatric cancer research

Two brothers from Mamaroneck are wrapping up 20 years of fundraising in the fight against pediatric cancer.
Anyone who visited the Westchester Mall in White Plains over the weekend may have noticed the activity at "Evan and Joshua's Hot Cocoa Stand."
"It's become a true staple of not only who we are, but who we pride ourselves on being," said co-founder Joshua Greenberg, of Mamaroneck.
Joshua, 22, and his brother Evan, 24, began raising money for charity when they were just 5 and 3 years old. Over the past 20 years, cash donations and sales of their creamy hot cocoa have raised research funds for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
"As of today, we've raised $100,000 in the 20 years that we've done this," said Evan Greenburg. “It goes to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. They give it to hospitals for research."
The brothers say that this will be their final year for the cocoa stand as Evan pursues a law degree at Cornell University and Joshua continues his work as an investment banking analyst at Rothschild & Company. They do promise to continue their fundraising efforts aimed at defeating pediatric cancer.
