Passengers across New York City made their way to Brighton Beach on Saturday for the New York Transit Museum’s annual Parade of Trains.
Attendees can hop on three vintage trains on the B/Q platforms where they will experience these trains as if they were in regular service.
During the parade of trains, New Yorkers can ride an R9 set and an AB standard train from the early 1900s.
"While the system still has its challenges, it's better than it was many years ago, in terms of comfort and reliability," says Andy Sparberg, a retired MTA employee.
The trains will continue to run on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
