The NYPD is planning to help City Island residents avoid traffic during Jennifer Lopez's free hometown concert.
Police say they'll dedicate one lane for people who live in the area so that they don't get stuck among concert goers.
"The local community is a primary consideration," concert organizers said in a statement. "In preparation for the event, city officials met with the local community board to review the site plan, outline a robust traffic plan and align on the logistics of the show."
The concert will be J. Lo's first back in the Bronx. It will kick off at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
