A quick-thinking coach is being hailed as a hero after diving into pool to save a swimmer after she fainted in water, according to the Daily Mail of Australia.

American synchronized swimmer Anita Alvarez passed out while competing at the World Championships and sank to the bottom of the pool in Budapest.

Her coach, Andrea Fuentes, leapt into the water and dragged her back to safety while lifeguards watched on.

Amazingly, it is the second time Alvarez has fainted in a pool mid-competition, with Fuentes again coming to her aid. 'We push through limits and sometimes we find them,' Fuentes said in a statement.
