WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Cold air will linger through Friday and Saturday, with temperatures slowly getting a little bit milder each day. Expect the winds to back down as well, making it feel more bearable to be out and about for a few hours. By Sunday, the skies will see more clouds roll in, but the rain stays away.

For early next week, rain chances are going up from a few systems moving through. One comes by Monday, with cloudy skies around all day and scattered showers as well. Temperatures will be trending milder though, due to a southerly wind flow.

Another system moves in for Tuesday, and the rain showers are present during the morning to midday hours. Drier and breezy conditions move afterwards with cooler air trying to return. Before it does, temperatures on Tuesday will peak into the mid-20s.

After Tuesday, temps cool down into the 40s. We may see a chance for a wintry mix to arrive by next Friday.
