Bronx Community College students are looking for some relief from planned tuition increases and budget cuts.
New York Gov. David Paterson has proposed cutting $65 million from a tuition assistance program that BCC students benefit from. Much of the TAP funds would be converted from grant money to loans that would have to be paid back.
"Making a choice between going to school and eating sometimes ? it's not a choice someone should have to make," says student Monique Lewis.
