The judge in the competency hearing for Eric Lau has declared that the testimony of three expects is "inconclusive" and sent Lau to a psychiatric hospital for 90 days for further observation.
Lau is accused of killing his neighbor, a popular teacher, in 2009.
The judge said that after the 90-day observation a new hearing will be held to determine if Lau is competent to stand trial.
