Cops: Drunken driver crashes into police cars

Police say two officers were injured yesterday morning when their cruisers were hit by a drunken driver. Officers Matthew Sullivan and Sgt. Thomas Schutz were injured in the crash and taken to Nyack Hospital.

Police say two officers were injured yesterday morning when their cruisers were hit by a drunken driver. Officers Matthew Sullivan and Sgt. Thomas Schutz were injured in the crash and taken to Nyack Hospital.
Police say the driver, 30-year-old Bernard Bohunicky, refused to take a Breathalizer test at the scene. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license.
Bohunicky is being held at Rockland County Jail. Bail was set at $50,000.
The crash shut down Route 304 north in Clarkstown for several hours.
