Authorities arrested a 15-year-old New City girl Monday morning after she allegedly stole her father's car and took a drunken joyride with a friend.
Police say the car was stopped by a Clarkstown officer on Route 304 and Germonds Road. The driver refused to take a Breathalyzer test, so a report of the incident was issued to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
The DMW will hold a hearing later this month to decide if and when the driver can get her license when she's old enough, police say.
Both girls were turned over to their parents after being pulled over by police.
