Ramapo police say they have arrested the man responsible for lighting a boat and two trucks on fire back in September.
According to police, Frank Segreto, 21, was seen on surveillance video lighting the boat and trucks on fire at a Sloatsburg business on Sept. 25. Police say the footage shows Segreto at Conserv Energy on Sterling Mine Road for 25 minutes and running off before police arrived.
Segreto, of New Jersey, appeared with his attorney Wednesday night and turned himself in at the request of Ramapo detectives.
Police didn't say if Segreto had a motive or if he knew the owners of the vehicles now destroyed. Their investigation also discovered Segreto was out on bail from arson in New Jersey at the time of the Sloatsburg fires.
Segreto faces five misdemeanor counts of arson and remains at the Rockland County Jail on $50,000 bail.
