Police continued the search Monday for a suspect who fired shots outside a Kiryas Joel supermarket over the weekend.

Police say two employees of Landau's Supermarket on Forest Road were making a delivery Sunday afternoon when the incident occurred. A third person, who the employees had a dispute with a few weeks earlier, confronted them and started arguing, police say. Investigators say the situation became heated, at which point the suspect took out a handgun and fired.

According to police, the suspect was driven away by another male in a blue, four-door Volkswagon. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New York State Police Department at 782-8311

Nobody was injured in the incident.
