A string of alleged hate crimes against the Mexican community in Morris Heights are being investigated by the NYPD.
Authorities say the first attack happened Saturday at 182nd Street and the Grand Concourse when two Hispanic men in their 20s were allegedly assaulted by four other Hispanic men who were shouting anti-Mexican slurs.
Police say the same suspects later struck two more times, stabbing a 53-year-old man in the torso and beating a 47-year-old man so badly he was taken to Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center.
Police are asking anyone with information about the assaults to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
