Cornell
University is joining the growing list of colleges that are requiring booster
shots.
The
Ivy League university in Ithaca announced
that all students, faculty and staff are required to get fully
vaccinated and boosted by Jan. 31, or within 30 days of being eligible
for a booster.
The
mandate comes weeks after the campus was shut down after more than 900 reported
positive cases among its 24,000 students.
