A
crash involving multiple tractor-trailers closed westbound I-84 in Newburgh for
much of the overnight.
Police
say the crash happened around 1 a.m. between exits 36 and 34.
They
say there three tractor-trailers went off the roadway and a jack-knifed
tractor-trailer blocked all westbound lanes for hours.
Slippery
road conditions are suspected to have had a role in the cause of the crash.
The
highway partially reopened around 4:30 a.m. One westbound lane remains closed.
