Crews battle fire at lithium-ion battery storage plant in Warwick

Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton says the fire started in a container with batteries on Warwick School District property.

Hazmat crews and other agencies responded to a lithium-Ion battery fire at a storage plant in Warwick. 
Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton says the fire started in a container with batteries on Warwick School District property.
People at those administrative offices and anyone in a half-mile were asked to leave.
Warwick firefighters say the fire is contained and no one has been hurt.
No other details were immediately available.
