A fire at a Nanuet auto body shop is under investigation.

Firefighters from several departments were called to the scene Wednesday night because of the potential of a bigger fire erupting from the paints and solvents in the building, as well as the bitter cold.

The first crew on the scene says they were able to confine the blaze with little damage.

The fire is thought to have been accidental.
