Crews spotted filming HBO series ‘The Time Traveler's Wife’ in Yonkers
Crews were seen filming a new HBO show in Yonkers this weekend.
HBO has an upcoming drama called “The Time Traveler's Wife,” which is based on the popular novel.
English actor Theo James was shooting his scenes near the Yonkers MetroNorth station on Alexander Street.
Bob Walters oversees the Habirshaw Park on the Hudson River, right where the crews were filming. He says he saw production assistants spraying fake snow on the streets and clues of Christmas time.
The scene doesn't appear to take place in New York. Instead, vintage Chicago police cars were on set.
Walters says Yonkers is a film-friendly community with diverse landscapes, from historic streets to parks to urban areas.
The HBO Max comedy "The Flight Attendant" and the Netflix drama "Halston" were shot all around Yonkers, White Plains, and several other Westchester towns. The two shows received 13 Emmy nominations.
