A Connecticut man has been charged with sexual assault and illegally entering a Beekman house with a weapon.
After a weeklong investigation, Town of Beekman officials say 32-year-old Wilson Oliveros-Romeros forced himself into the home with a weapon - and sexually assaulted the person living there.
Oliveros-Romeros has been charged with rape and burglary among other charges, and has been remanded to the Dutchess County Jail with no bail.
Oliveros-Romeros and the victim are believed to have known each other. Officials say this was an isolated incident.
