Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) today toured a Goshen farm that sustained heavy damage during flooding caused by two major storms in two weeks.
Cuomo announced during his tour that $2.4 million will be distributed to 125 farms around the state to help them recover from the recent storms.
The farmers at J. Glebocki Farms say besides their loss of crops from Tropical Storm Irene and Tropical Storm Lee, they are dealing with damage to the infrastructure in their fields, such as covert pipes that are completely clogged and need to be rebuilt.
