Gov. Andrew Cuomo is warning the new UK coronavirus variant found in Saratoga Springs could be "a game changer.”    

Data reveals that this variant is 70% more transmittable than the original virus.

"The numbers are frightening on the increase of the transmittal of the virus, even if the lethality doesn't go up, the fact that it is so much more transmittable is a very real problem."

Cuomo says if the federal government doesn't mandate testing for international travelers that he'll take steps to protect the state.
