The Brooklyn Cyclones downed Aberdeen 2-1 Tuesday, completing a series sweep of the Ironbirds.
Before entering Tuesday?s game, the Cyclones had won all five games played between the two division rivals so far this year. The latest three-game sweep on the road did not come easy.
In the latest series alone, Brooklyn won two one-run games and another in extra innings. However, the victories still goes down as ?Ws.?
Eric Neison tossed 3 1/3 shutout innings in his professional debut, allowing only two hits.
