A Putnam County man who was convicted for his eighth felony received a seven-year prison sentence for having illegal drugs.

Putnam County District Attorney Robert V. Tendy says 47-year-old Omar Miles' parole supervision for his prior conviction ended four months before his latest arrest.

At that time, prosecutors say the Mahopac man was selling cocaine out of his home.
